I don't really write a lot of reviews unless I have a strong opinion one way or another about the product, in this case book. From the very beginning I could not stop reading this book. I don't normally go in for time travel, or any type of paranormal, but the book takes place in one of my favorite time periods. While I could would have liked a little more spice the heat between the main characters is obvious, even if I found it a bit on the side of ridiculous for the two to hold back for the reasons they do. I will not try to give a summary of the story, the story line is well written with enough historical detail to take the reader in to that time period with out boring in to a history lesson. If you are a fan of time travel, true love, well developed characters that lead you through a story that pulls you in totally for the whole ride, THIS IS IT!Product details

This gets 5 stars. If you like a time travel book, you'll love this. It will keep you interested all the way through. You will not want to put it down. It has love, mystery and danger! Read it!
If you like travel time stories ya gotta read this one! Set in a time and place near and dear to me. Just after the Civil War and in the South. Reading this will make you think all you need is a Molly to hop around in time.
I loved Lost in the Mist of Time (one of my all time favorite books) so I wanted to give Creighton Manner a chance. I am glad I did! It was a great read. It was entertaining and kept me wanting to read more.
I don't usually read time travel novels because as a rule I don't care for the genre. I had read 'Twist of Time' (also a free e-book) and really liked it- so, when Creighton Manor was listed as 'free' I had to read it. Glad I did. I thought this book was even better than 'Twist...
Being an animal lover, I especially enjoyed the role the dog played in being able to lead Zachary and Gillian to the passages through time. I also liked the aspect of 'modern medicine' that was woven into the story. Karen has become one of my favorite authors and I'm looking forward to reading more of her 'travel' books.
I won't go over what the book is about again but I will say I wish it was a series! It was a wonderfully different read. The only thing that bothered me was how accepting some of the characters were about the idea of time travel. But then sometimes people surprise us )
I like time travel books so I might be biased.
I hate it when the heroine makes me take the 'I hope she gets killed' position because she's being soooo silly. Other than that, yes. I'd read it again, share with a friend, give it as a gift even.
Could be I just like to read fiction that makes me wonder what I would do in real life.
Wow! What a story! Not your "run of the mill" adventure.i. It is exciting from beginning to end. You will find it hard to put down ! I loved the characters, their romance and, all the surprise connecting touches! It really was a great read! I cannot wait to read more from this author. Maybe Zachary's best friend will have his own time travel romance in another installment????
